This course is written and presented by an expert in the interface between wellbeing and career planning who has spoken to 1000s of people with burnout over a 30+ year period. You'll develop both a broad and in depth grasp of burnout. There is a workbook and 12 videos plus various support upgrades.

Why you need THIS course
Misconceptions about burnout and and how to reverse it are rife. "Sticking plaster" solutions or contradictory advice may come from well-meaning family, friends & colleagues ( few, if any, of whom are burnout experts). This course is in contrast - unbiased, accurate, comprehensive and structured.

Time requirement
The videos are short but jam packed with information about burnout. Three listenings of each video ( one right through, one with a friend, one making notes) is the ideal and enough of a challenge for anyone with burnout. Reflection and writing in the workbook means we feel that one hour a week is about the right time

More haste less speed
This course will take around 3 months to complete. More haste less speed is true in burnout so you will resolve things faster & more profoundly by going at our recommended pace (and not thinking you can somehow bypass it all) There is a real risk of repeating burnout in the future if your grasp has not been deep enough.

A balanced outcome
You will not be an expert in burnout after this course but you will be an informed expert on YOUR burnout . You will feel empowered to make the changes needed so that you can return to containing work and enjoying work within a burnout free life. The outcome is therefore a greater awareness of burnout triggers, some skills for preventing burnout and a plan ....for turning burnout around.

After the course
For some thus course alone is enough ( with or without support upgrades). Others really benefit from adding a return to work module and/ or a career reevaluation and planning module. We recommend booking a one to one zoom near the end of this course if you have concerns about how best to plan your return to work or if you feel you would like to explore different ways of working.
